Manifesto Small Press - Publishing

With the arrival of our new cylinder press, the Little Giant #4, we are finally putting small press projects into production. Our first release will be a book of poetry by Marceline White. Our New Press - Cylinder

The Little Giant #4 has arrived. With a maximum sheet size of 12x18 and press speeds comparable to our Heidelberg Windmills, this press rounds out our capabilities here in the shop. We plan to begin accepting work for this press in the late spring or early summer of 2007.

Dinosaur Jr Posters

Manifesto Gallery Openings - The Party Vanguard

Manifesto will begin sponsoring a series of Guerilla Gallery Art Openings. Our first in the series will feature work by Mark Kelly and Boris Savic. All the specifics for the show will be announced in the early Spring. Shows and locations will be determined by space availability. The guerilla nature of these shows will most certainly require you to keep your eyes open for more last minute details.

Big 20 Box Set

So about 8 years ago I started a clipart project with Mark Kelly. We had boxes manufactured, based on a set of dies I used for a boxset of punk singles I put out in the early 90's called Pestilence. Mark's Clipart disc, Caffeine Studios, is still available, but it comes without a box. The boxes are now being used for BIG 20, a collection of cards and ephemera we offer here at Manifesto. www.manifestopress.com/big20.html .

Banimon Comic 1,2,3 (of 19)

Boris Savic thinks and lives on the palettes of Adobe Illustrator. Did Adobe change the key commands when they switched from version 10 to CS? I still haven't figured it out. Banimon is Boris hooking it long ago, and creating one of the most beautiful things he's done in Illustrator. He comes out to the shop and prints a few more editions in the series when it's time. A few weeks ago he printed #2 and #3. He brought his friend "Fridge"...a guy with a damn right-on sense of humor and good spirit. Color and Foil Stamping

In early Spring 2007, We will begin offering foil stamping services on a limited basis. Our primary interest is in printing white or lighter color foils on darker papers. If you have a design project in mind, this new service will help eliminate the problem of printing white ink on darker papers.
